Need More Horsepower

I aways thought it would be cool to take an old 2nd gen Dodge/Cummins 2500 and chop the frame to a beat up Chevy Astro mini-van length, put the crappy Astro body on it, BOMB the heck out of the engine and drivetrain, take it to the track and kick some butt!

What more of an attention getter than a plastic wood veneer covered minivan with a couple 5" stacks shooting through the roof :)

I would never have the time or skill to actually do it, and probably never the money to pay to have it done, but yeah, what a sweet sleeper, huh? There could even be a fabbed up roll cage inside the thing. :)

that almost sounds like something jessie james and the monster garage crew outta do... . too bad they didnt have some sort of a "suggestion box!" i would love to see more diesel stuff on tv... .

I agree it was a shame to take a piece of ww2 history just to tack the front end on some tractor puller. There aren't very many original ww2 jeeps left.
