Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I was on my computer at work on my break (ok, ok, I was killing time), and had my TDR "User Control Panel" open while I was drawing something for work. The first of my subscribed threads is "Great Smoke Stories".
Gloria, one of the janitorial staff, who is pretty fluent in English, but still doesn't get some phrases, comes in to the shop to say hello. She asks me what I'm doing and tell her I'm drawing.
She looks around and reads, "Great... Smoke... Stories", trying to pronounce it the best way she can.
She looks me right in the eye and says, "Nick, do you smoke?"
I said, "No! But my truck does!" She laughs and asks what I mean so I searched for some drag strip pics and found one with a nice cloud of smoke on starting. She thought it was great!
