Fuse Tap

Can anyone tell me where you can obtain the little fuse tap that comes with the Power Edge or Blue Box to hook up the hot wire to the fuse box. Thanks.

The one I purchased at Discount AP wouldn't fit the box because of the side clearance. The add a fuse was too thick. You may want to check before you leave the parts store.

Thanks everyone, I did find the fuse taps at Radio Shack. Now I am trying to find the colored covers for the bulbs. I guess I'll have to go into Austin for them,as this town does not have very well stocked auto supply stores. I did find the 194 bulbs with the covers, but I am afraid they might be too hot for the gauges.

Hey Hacksaw:

There is a product by Littelfuse called Add-A-Circuit. Unplug a fuse, plug in the Add-A-Circuit, the fuse you removed plugs in plus you add an additional fuse(assortment included) All thats left is to tie into the pig tail coming off of the Add-A-circuit.
I found mine at PEP Boys on south Lamar,they come in both mini and regular sizes.

yogibear, if I remember correctly, I purchased one for about $8. (or was it $8. 95... I purchased it at least a year ago, right when they first came out).

I had to file my Littlefuse Add a Circuit down to get them to fit in the fuse panel. They were the "mini" size, but the plastic part is too thick to fit in the panel without a little "modification". #ad


I used 2--one for the Painless Wiring ignition on relay and one for the EGT and boost gauge lights. $8. 99 at Pep Boys
