Just got a call from Johnny over at Fusion Bumpers letting me know the rear bumper I ordered for my '98 is shipping today. The rear bumper is going on a Second Gen, 4x4, Flame Red. The features I want to incorporate are rear clevis brackets mounted low, license plate LEDS, and the Rigid back up lights.

The bumper ships raw steel. I plan to paint it Flame Red to match the truck. I am interested is seeing if any of you have purchased a bumper from Fusion and if you have include a picture!

Be sure to post up some pics of it, I'm contemplating a replacement rear for my truck.
Are you painting it or powder coating?

I'll be sure to post some pictures along the way with a full write up in the TDR. I'm thinking of using paint to match the truck's color and possibly using bed liner material on the top surface.

Unless I am opperating this overpriced deck of cards (solitar) wrong, there are no prices on that link. I can see from the photos on their site that they are going to be more than I want to spend. Sweet bumper though.

Good news!Despite all the bad weather in the passes the bumper arrived today! I need to get the part number for the back up and license plate lights. Next stop to the paint shop. I will post some pictures in the next day or so.

I know Joe, I know.... My rear bumper is back from the paint shop today...Flame Red and looking' GOOD! Everyone who has seen it loves the look and the quality. It is impressive!!
Fusion has a new design front bumper for the second gens...Keep an eye out in Issue 85.

Fusion does a great job of building distinctive, good looking bumpers that combine strength with reasonable weight. A friend and I easily installed the 137 lb. front bumper, instead of needing a crane. Not only does my 2013 Fusion front bumper have strength from the 1/4" faceplate, it also has excellent airflow for the 2013 low mounted intercooler. I'm sure you will like your second gen. bumper just as well.

Just a couple of quick shots back from the paint shop. This is a quality built piece. The trailer plug fits flush to the bumper. The square cut outs are for Rigid LED floods.
