Nice job Joe! Good motivation for getting the install completed on Red Ryder. I ordered the LED bolts for the license plate, just need to get the Rigid LED flood lights and I'll be set. I think I will wire the back up lights so they come on in reverse AND have the ability to switch them on to provide light when hitching at night without having to put the trans. in gear.

I am using Rigid's 60 degree diffused LEDs in the rear. I bought a $5 regular lamp at Pep Boys for the license plate lamp, and it satisfies the Body Control Module and EVIC display on my 2013. I never kneew there were so many options for license plate lamps until I looked for one.

You're not kidding. I found a nice set of stainless steel bolt type with white LEDs from one of my Harley suppliers. Should be a clean set up. I'm going to use my EDGE back up camera which doubles as a license plate frame. It is a good alternative to not having the factory rear vision camera option...nice to have when backing and hitching.

Good idea. I really love the backup camera on my '13, called "Park View." Hitching up my trailer takes 1-2 tries instead of a dozen.

I'm taking the bumper down to see the bed liner shop next. I plan to mask off and coat the top area where I step.

Match color, or black?
Joe- mine is a red truck, but isn't RED... Pedestrian, as you put it. <G> It matches our STEALTH trailer....

I don't think the color match will look good. It's to hard to get an exact match. I went with black and the UV protective coating. I'll post picture when it comes back from the shop.
