Do not see any link for DIS of Texas. Maybe I just cannot see through all of the smoke.

Thanks to all for the best website on the net.

Hey, thanks for the link, but I went to their web site and there were no pictures of the triple mount with tweeters. Has anybody seen / purchased them? I also tried calling but doesnt look like they are open on sat. Anybody know how they attach the tweeter ,does the hole look like the stock hole???

The Auto Meter catalog on their web site still does NOT show a part number for a triple A-pillar pod w/ tweeter for 98-up Rams, so I have no idea what DIS is claiming to have for sale. I'll believe it exists when I see it.

I will pass along that I have tried the triple pillar for 87-earlier Rams, but the contour of the pillar is different than the newer Rams and it will not fit worth a damn.

Below is what I read on the DIS of texas Front page about the Full "A" Pillar mounts. I dont know whether Order the New Full Pillar mount, Or to just use the half pillar one I have now.
Doug

From the DIS Front Page:
"""""Talked to Greg at Gaugeworks and we are looking at 2-3 weeks away on getting the pillars in stock for the 1998 and up Dodge Cummins (there will be one model for the ones with the tweeter and one for the one w/o the tweeter)

I have the part #'s and the pricing will be the same as the other pillar mounts - we have product on order and are starting to take preorders! Click here to go to the Pillar Mount section"""""""

Give that #15002 by Autometer a look when it comes in I think you will like that much better then the pillar setup. It sits even with the hood as far of line of sight to the road. Mines painted to match my agat interior and well it looks great so keep an open mind about it #ad

If I had pictures of it I would post, I'll try to get some soon but my scanner went kaput.

Gotchya brother, the dash mount is probably easier to set up also(MINOR) I did get the 4351 changed to a 4357 and it was cheaper to boot! Thanks -HOV

It would sure look alot cleaner to have a full pillar instead of the pod I have now. The million dollar question is; does the grain texture on the new pillar match the OE pillar? I'll eventually check one out,but if they're still using the non-matching texture like what's on my pod now, then what's the use.

Thanks for the heads up DieselRam. #ad
I called Brent at D. I. S. (1-800-658-9355 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Central/M-F) the first thing this morning to place my pre-order on the trick new Gauge Works triple, full A-pillar replacement with tweeter. I was informed by Brent there are four new Gauge Works full A-pillar replacements for the 1998-2001 Rams:
#17202 Dual 2" W/O tweeter
#17203 Triple 2" W/O tweeter
#17204 Dual 2" WITH tweeter
#17205 Triple 2" WITH tweeter
Apparently the #17205 and the #17204 will be released first, both of which have an approximate E. T. A. at D. I. S. in about two to three weeks (by 8-30-00). The four listed A-pillar replacements come black which can be painted to match your interior. Of course, the OE tweeter is transferred over to the Gauge Works replacement. Better hurry up, the line forms to the rear. #ad

drag racer, the reason you did not find the new Gauge Works products on the Auto Meter website is because Brent talks directly to Greg at Gauge Works, thus allowing him to hear the information first. Hopefully Brent will receive a pre-production release of either the #17205 and/or #17204 which he can photograph and place on the D. I. S. website... he is currently working toward that end right now.

Another little D. I. S. news flash: D. I. S. is now an SPS gauge distributor, offering the trick SPA gauges at competitive prices. #ad

Back to the top again for member access to the new Gauge Works FULL pillar mount (double and triple gauge, with or without tweeter) part numbers. #ad

Did anyone receive and install either the 2 or 3 pod with tweeter yet? Please provide comments if so. Good quality?

Thanks,
Bob
