Well "too good to be true" rears its head.

Well - this is the e-mail I got today about the good deal on the X-treme floor mats. Sorry to mislead any of the members that may have ordered these but I should have known

Lesson learned... ...

I got the same dear john email from them, too.

I get the feeling it was a baited hook.

The offered price to "order" the package for me actually worked out pretty well. Much less than any other deal I've found. I may go ahead and take the deal so all is not lost.

I appreciated the posting though.

At least you guys got an email. I have not received anything, even after emailing them, and politely asking. I do have an order confirmation number, as I asked them "... presume my order is proceeding per your advertised price and will be delivered shortly... "

If not will see what happens with some filed complaints w/copies of documents with the appropriate authorities.

Oh yes, STILL believe in the tooth fairy, so will wait and see.

Xtrem Floor Mats

I have to edit my previous post. The floor mats arrived by UPS todayOo. Price on the attached receipt per the offer, $24. 99 + $6. 00 handling and insurance, no shipping charges!!!

I did email 4 wheel Parts explaining after what I had seen about the other guys getting the 'out of stock' email (none received by me), and giving my order confirmation number, no reply to my email, but the order did come today, and as soon as they warm up and unfold flat, will put them in.

Normally I am on the other end of the stick on something like this, so will go out and by a Powerball ticket for tonight, and push my luck further:p

I e-mailed 4wheelparts a link to this thread a few days ago. I wanted them to realize that together we (TDR members) communicate good and bad experiences with different vendors...

I got a set for x-mas from my Grandma and know she paid $60 out of Cabella's (I ordered them to make sure they were the right ones).

They then sent me the WRONG ones (got a set for '02 and up 1500's, NOT the '01 2500 like I ordered (it was even on the receipt that I ordered for '01 2500)). No problems from Cabella's... she had a set drop-shipped from the factory and a return label sent for the other ones.

I've had 'em in now for over 3 months and really like them! They stay in place, keep all the crap inside of them, and are easy to clean w/ water. They're a little flimsier (sp?) than I thought they would be, but once they are mounted and screwed in, you can't tell... they're definitely good and solid!

FWIW... Josh

EDIT: Forgot to add that unlike before when I would have snow/rain/whatever wet crap on my shoes, and it'd melt off while driving, my pickup would be all musty and "wet" feeling for a week or better. Not now though as the water pools on the mats, and then evaporates or goes away once I dump 'em out.

Same letter but no refund

I got the same "out of stock letter" from 4WheelParts. I told them not no but hell no. I don't want to pay extra so please refund my money. I have yet to see the refund and also have yet to receive a repy to my email.

Well - This is the 1st Friday in about 2 months that I did not get an e-mail from 4wheelparts.com advertising their "weekend special". I guess they took me off their list... :p

I got my mats as ordered and delivered. They are not what I thought they were. These are not rug type covered. They are like pure hard plastic. If somebody wants them they can have em. Just PM me before I send these bask next week.
