changing out fuel line question

Has anyone put side pipes on their truck?

I've had my AirDog since February and have had no problems with it. But stuff like this has me worried if I made a good investment. I feel that the AirDog is a great product. Small and compact, great fuel pressure, and no problems. Even with the cold nights here in CO. When I ran into a problem during the install (my fault), they helped me out and talked me through a solution. I just hope that the changes the company is going through will not affect the market, their product, or their customer service. I would hate for them to discontinue this product.

I'll put in a good word for the new folks at Pure Flow. I just installed my AirDog that I've had since January and got a bad pump. Pure Flow got me a new pump under warranty right away. The new one is working great and I'm very happy with the customer service. Kenny is the new light-truck tech and is very helpful and knowledgable.

Is that the same guy that was selling the pumps before , just under a new name, or is it someone else selling the pumps?

No, Charles Ekstam has sold the company. He was the original creator of the AirDog (and fuel/air separation altogether but we won't get into that). He stayed on with Pure Flow for several months training all the employees and educating them on his product. I feel like I'm in pretty good hands with the new owners.

I read so much about the AirDog and FASS pumps. I have the BD auxiliary lift pump and experienced my OEM Cummins pump going out. The fuel pressure gauge will tell you when it goes out. I had my spare Cummins ($140) lift pump installed and the problem was solved very easily. Don't waste you money on other pumps.

Lift Pump Problem

I have the BD auxilary lift pump. It has been on the 2001 truck for 5,000 miles. The OEM pump failed but the truck kept going. The fuel pressure gauge tells you when the pump failed and you are on the auxiliary lift pump. My spare lift pump ($140) was installed and that solved the problem. Don't waste you money on the other auxiliary lift pumps. I always carry a spare lift pump.

What does the FASS sell for and the RASP I understand that the Air Dog is going for 749. 50 naturally I would like to get it for less but I am now concidering getting one once I have more info regarding the + and - of all systems. I do want to protect my fuel system from wear due to the high fuel pressure with 5 - 10 micron particles sandblasting the internals. I just keep coming across a small percentage of owners of FASS units that have complaint I don't hear much complaints about the Air Dog

I would appreciate any and all feed back

It went up to $1095 when the buy out happened, now it dropped back down.

Yes, I cancelled my original order for it when they wanted over 1000 I guess they weren't selling many at that price and came down to a more real price range. I will know more Monday eve will Let you know

Picked up my 70 gal transferFlow tank today I hope to have time to install it tomorrow and maybe place some fuel in it before price goes up as it is still ONLY 2. 999 around here if you look for the right station otherwise its going for aprox 3. 13
