g-tech pocket dyno

Who is using one of these? Are they very accurate. I just seen the add in the genos catalog. All thoughts will be appriciated.

I have been playing with one of these for a couple of years. They are pretty accurate. I have had one in vehicles on the track and they are real close. They usually read a few mph higher than the track do to where the traps are at the track. They are a lot of fun to play with... CJ

The G-tech is about 95% accurate, which is amazing considering how inexpensive they are. The most important thing to remember is the MOUNTING. The unit cannot wiggle, wobble, or otherwise shimmy AT ALL, otherwise the reading will be inaccurate. The windshield mount that comes with it is adequate for most applications.

I do five or 6 passes throw out the high and low and then average the rest. I have always have gotten one great pass and then one yuck pass. JMO
