G56 4wd Vs 2wd - Tail housing swap?

Does anyone know if the 4wd G56 and the 2wd G56 rear housings can be interchanged? I have 4wd version here on the garage floor and im debating doing a divorced transfercase swap so a 2wd tail housing would be needed, any info?

I think the output flange from a 2wd will bolt onto your 4wd transmission.

here's my 4wd tail housing. . looks very similar to your 2wd tail housing. . from the pictures it looks like I would just need that flange to make a 4wd trans a 2wd. . etc. . maybe there are no differances besides the flange?

the only differns is the out put shaft seal and you need the 2wd yoke on the back of the trans and the bolt
