What does a VP-44 have to do with a G56?

I think his humorous point was that the VP-44 information he got was the result of the free-flow of candid dialogue -- both positive and negative. If people are defensive about their G56 transmissions to the point that it chills the expression of feelings and experiences by others (what some defensive folks might call bashing), then maybe important information regarding the G56 won't be disseminated -- thus performing a disservice to all of us.
