G56 jumping out of reverse

Dodge put out a TSB on the G56 today, regarding the problem they have with jumping out of reverse. They state that they have to replace the reverse syncro. assembly. If you have this issue, maybe time to call the dealer and have them fix 'er up for you!

Haven't heard of anyone having this problem. And it hasn't happened to me... yet. Thanks for the info anyway.

Reverse has a synchro?

just went on to dealer connect and did not see anything new. the only tsb for the g56 is for vibration. do you have the tsb number. thanks

I found it on dealer connect, TSB #21-006-06

Sure Enough, Went In To Effect 3-11-06. Just Pulled It Up. I Have Not Had Any Customers Come In With This Problem As Of Yet. I Guess Time Will Tell.

I was just going to post that exact question. I was backing down a long loading dock with a pretty steep grade and it popped out of reverse on me. Guess I better try it a few more times and see what happens. Nice to know there is a TSB I can give the dealer to help them locate the problem.

Mine was doing this and the dealer replaced the transmission upon Chrysler's request.
