G56 Noise

I'm getting lots of noise in 5th gear, slightly less in 3rd, and some in neutral with the clutch out. None of the other gears make noise. I noticed an orange sticker on the side of the transmission and I wonder if there is any indicator that points to this G56 being checked for the +1 quart issue reported earlier this year. I'll probably end up taking it to my know nothing dealer but I'd like to hear from others.
