I have a G56 manual transmission in a 2017 2500 Long Horn Crew Cab 4x4. My odometer is at 102,000. I knew when I bought the truck that I would one day be replacing the clutch with a South Bend Clutch. While I am not experiencing any clutch slipping, my throw out bearing has started making a lot of noise and there is some minor abnormal vibration in the clutch pedal. I figure it is time to just install the SBC while repairing the throw out bearing. The G56-OK-HD Stage 1 kit show $1,430 on their website without shipping. I was wondering if anyone could give me a total out the door cost? I figure "shipping & handling" and hourly rate on top of the $1,430. Anyone care to take a guess?

DAP is an authorized dealer. If you have a question about the warranty, call SBC and ask. The “no warranty” is to protect their pricing. The warning on the website says there’s no warranty if you buy below their MAP, Minimum Authorized (or Advertised) Price. $1,366 is less than their MAP of $1,387. I’d call SBC and DAP.

I saw nowhere that it had to be installed by an authorized dealer, it just says certified mechanic.

I’ve never known SBC to try to get out of warrantying something, quite the opposite.
