G56 Trans Cooler... Wanna go in half?

I couldn't pick a good thread for this to go in, so I just stuck it here (mods please move if not appropriate).

I'm interested in installing a transmission cooler on my G56 manual. Genos just came out with a nice product that includes 2 coolers... one for each of the PTO covers.

However, I've also installed 5" exhaust, and the cooler for the passenger side would be very close to the exhaust, thus defeating the whole purpose.

Would anyone want to split the cost of the kit from Geno's Garage? The idea being we would each install a single cooler on the driver's side PTO cover location for better cooling...

Get ahold of Trans-Cool. I just bought "one" cooler from them at May Madness. No problem at all with them. The other side has a filter system, on it. The same one that Geno's sells.



the other option might be to trim the fins so that the cooler will avoid the exhaust system. I don't know how much room you will need but, a bit of trimming might do the job. The fins are quite long.

You might, also, ask them if they will just sell you one. Explain your situation & they may be able to sell the other one to someone in your situation.
