no bus, take the train, I'm sorry dude I couldn't resist.

sounds like something simple has maybe come unplugged, check up above all the foot pedals to see if maybe something got kicked loose.

A no bus message at the odomater means that the vehicles communication between all of the various control modules is not working. There is many possibile things that can cause this. Usually if one module has an internal problem, it will drag the whole system down with it. If this is the case the easiest way to find the problem is to start unplugging modules. When you unplug the bad module the rest of the system will come back up.

My 99 did this several times, it turned out to be the plug on the back of the cluster. The guys that fixed it Ohmed all of the wires and found the one that wasn't working tweeked the connector a little and plugged it back in. Been working for 2 years now.

Went to Dodge, they quoted me 3hr min @ 85. 00. Came back and studied further. Noticed there was an abnormal buildup of corrosion around the negative terminal of the left battery. These were the originals, so lets replace both. Amazing, the gage cluster went on and after about 10 miles the check engine light reset itself..... Everything back to normal. I hate trying to dignose these new fangled electronic vehicles... . Hope I could help someone
