Gage pods MELTING

I have the dash mount gage pod from Geno's. It holds three gages. Here in Phoenix it got to the mid 90's last week and my dash pod started to bubble. What am I going to do when it gets hot here? Has anybody else had this problem? I guess I have to use one of those sun shades now. Does anybody know where to get a ITC gage? (Inside The Cab)

I lived in Mesa for 3 years, I feel your pain! Best bet is to replace the dash pod with the pillar pod. I worked with a guy who had the dash pod and had the same problem. He tried many things, nothing worked. Finally switched to pillar pod. No more problems.

Mine did ok in Houston 100* summer heat. I do have window vents and leave all windows cracked 1" or so. I also have a sun shade, at least it is a Dodge Ram sun shade with a Ram logo and not smiley faces or rainbows. It does help. Even then it is 120-130* after sitting in the sun all day.

I had a customer with the overhead console start to blister as well I would talk to autometer about a replacement.
