I drove it today and folks this one is sweet.



Jeff still has some minor details to left, but it sure was fun driving a brand new truck (now with a whole 111 miles on it) with the rattle of a 12v. Oo.

With a rattling 12 valve, people might think it's a tilted terror with bad wrist pins. They might even give Jeff a couple second head start, just to give him a fair chance.

Neal, we just got back from our first FTRL gathering and Jeff took it to run. :-laf And you are dead on. Jeff took it easy on a low power tune all night with his wife riding with him. Low 14's at about 99 mph. He pulled up against a lifted Ford 4x4 (nice truck) and some folks in the crowd said " that little white truck is gonna get killed". :-laf That two plus second gap Jeff put on on the Ford was priceless. :-laf

I don't know about the Hemi badges, but the 1500 badge is a real confusser. And to look under the hood is crazy. Jeff said the engine sits 10"s to the rear and 3 inches lower than the little gasser that came out. If he wants, this little truck can be one of the baddest on the strip. You should see the rear end work. Some traction bars and tires, it's hold my beer and watch this, time. Scarface did a very nice job, but there is one unforgivable deed that was done. There is a Ford intercooler on that little creampuff. I hope it can overcome that imperfection

The shifter was bought over here at the new Summit outlet in McDonough. The whole thing really is neat.

Looks like that thing is a B&M Magnum Grip Pro Stick... very nice!

would sure like some swap questions answered..... what intercooler year especially, do all the dash gauges work? what tach/signal?

Ford Intercooler, not sure if there is a year difference or what year he used. All guages work except tach. He is planning to install an aftermarket one for now anyway.

I just got off the phone with Jeff. He has logged 368 miles traveling in the Stripper today. He is at 1/2 tank :-laf ... . half of a 25 gallon tank :-laf that comes to 29. 44 MPG

I ran 13. 60 @ 107 on the radials 2. 6 60ft. killed the super charged lightning

beside me. The trip to the track and back home 165 miles, two passes

several test drives, 26 gal tank, used 1/4 tank fuel. the power calculates 497hp.
