Bought a 98 12 valve 5 speed that was hit in the left front pushing axle back breaking transfer case. I know the input shaft between gas and Diesel are different splines my question is are the exterior cases the same where I could take the guts out of mine and put them in a gas np241dld? I have located an nP 241dld from a stick truck just a tad bit expensive.
