Gateway Diesel Owners Association Gathering for February

OK all of you old attendies and hopefully some new ones too, the meeting place is Edwardsville Township Park on February 16th anytime after 8:00am. the park closes at 4:00pm so the days are short this time of year. Let me know who to expect. We are going to need some tarps to hang over the sides of the pavillion to block the wind if there is any. Any and all who can make it please bring one if you own one. I am going to bring my grill and some pork steaks. Everyone is invited to bring what they want to eat and use the grill to cook and/or heat up what they bring. If any of you need directions email me and let me know where you are coming from and I will email you directions or if I get to many emails I will post the directions here.

yogibear, Mark does not subscribe to the TDR anymore. He does come to visit and knows about the gathering. I talk to him about every week as he is doing some work with his Barracuda and asks some advice once in a while. He will be there on the 16th.

If anyone is available on Sat, feb 8th, The Land of Giants truck club is once again Cruizin' For Kids. The Cruise starts in Cedar Hill MO. and ends up at the South County Mall at Lindbergh and 55. I will be there again this year to donate time and money. There will be trucks on display along with food and drinks. Big Foot will be there again this year. Everyone is welcome to come. This event is an annual thing to help raise money for St. Judes research hospital.

Hey!! I'm retiring next year ... . do ya'll have a chapter going? I'll be residing in St James, MO ... I'm from Belleville, Ill, wife is from Fairview ... . look fwd to meeting all of you!!

Hi Keith, we don't have a "chapter" set up. We talked about it and decided we weren't going to get that serious. We just have a group of owners that get together when we can. We set times up and whoever can or wants to come comes and enjoys the day or they don't. We have had as little as four trucks and as many as 24 show up. It will be nice to meet you when you get settled back in the area. We decided that the group name is Gateway Diesel Owners Association since we take in all brands and we "associate" with each other. We just don't have a reason to get into memberships and such as we don't want to get real serious about all members coming to all the meetings. We are just laid back and into having a good time. See you in the future.
