Hi all.

I am installing two Isspro gauges on my dashboard.
Behind dashboard temperature control buttons and cigarette lighter, there are unused pigtails. I guess each truck uses the same wire harness, for the various trim levels.

Anyways, on any one of those unused pigtails, there is a dimmer wire. I have used a dimmer wire from an unused pigtail before. However, can I splice into a single wire to act as a dimmer control for two gauges at the same time?

Or will two gauges draw too much amperes for this single wire?

Thanks

It would be helpful to know if the Isspro gauges use LED's for illumination. If so, their current draw is infinitesimally small. They may also not dim the same amount as the cluster if the '07 cluster is still using incandescent bulbs. Even if the gauges still use incandescent bulbs, their current draw should be easily satisfied with one wire.

Thanks Guys. I'll solder in the two gauges to the extra pigtail dimmer wire that isn't being used, then I'll put some heat shrink over everything.

Regards

Glenn
