Ok, bought a new digital camera and decided to show off my gauges. Gauges are Autometer Z series... Top of A pillar is trans temp(manual), Pyro and boost. On steering pod, Fuel Pressure. I really like the steering pod mount, however it does block MPH from 0-10. . Oh well, I usually dont go that slow.

Very nice install. Ifn you don't mind me asking, how much did you have to pay for the FP gauge setup, where did you get it, and was it hard to install? I assume it is electric. I am somewhat mechanically challenged. I am able to hook up Briar Hoppers gauge twice a month tho, but would like an in-cab setup.

Regards,

Roger

I got the steering pod mount from genos (43. 00), The Fuel pressure Gauge from Summit (180. 00 model 2661 A. M. electric). Isolator hose I made up. . Install is not hard just be patient. TDR issue 32 shows how to hook up isolator hose. Steering pod slips on to original, nice fit. I did drill a hole in original pod to hide fuel pressure wires for a custom install. I then ran them down the steering shaft so they cant be seen. The whole setup looks factory which is what i wanted. On a scale of 1-10 I rate it a easy 5... . Good luck

Pillar color

Hey Rc,

Aren't digital cameras are great for this stuff!

So, did you get away with the default black color pillars, or did you have to paint?

I have the tan interior, of which some pieces are tan, some are taupe and some are not. I think they scrounged the bottom of the parts bin to assemble mine. So anyway, the only color I could get - from the dealer (Nevada Dodge) - is taupe, which matches the interior to some degree, but not the other pillar. Simple enough though, I just painted both pillars.

I see you have the 'mandatory in the desert' dash mat.

Maybe some time a bunch of Las Vegas TDR members will get together.

What did you have to do to post the pics, the TDR doesn't seem to be user friendly to me when trying to post pics, maybe is operator error, like there too big in size but I've seen people post pics bigger than is suppose to be allowed by the server if you look at the properties.

Rcpilotlv - Nice set-up, good job. Don't pictures make it easy! Truly a thousand words there!

Jim – To find out how to post pictures larger than 32k (it will take a little work) Click Here

After seeing your post, I thought I'd give it a try doing a write up on the subject. Hope it helps. Beware, it’s a little long, but I think it will help. It was as short as I could make it to cover most of the details.
