AFE MEGA cannon in a 6.7L

New Oct 16th Smarty software for 3rd gen: Lots if Injector rattle?

Getting ready to install gauges in new truck and had a few questions. I've done a couple 5. 9's but these 6. 7's seem to be a little different. .

Pyro and trans temp are good to go, but the other 2 gauges are the one's that got me on question. .

1. Boost... . I know on the 5. 9's the easiest way of doing it is a boost bolt, now from what i've been hearing is the boost bolts for the 5. 9's are about 3/4" too short. So the only other way i know of is drillin and tappin... . Anyone try using a boost bolt on a 6. 7 yet or played with one to see if a boost bolt would work on one? If so what intake bolt did you take out for it to work, as i see you only have a couple you could use being the rail is bolted to the top of the intake. .

2. Fuel Pressure... . I have talked to a couple dealers and they are saying that for running FP, the only place you can use a banjo bolt is going into the back of the filter housing..... On my last 5. 9 i put the banjo right at the pump... . Dealer and others have told me it won't work on the 6. 7's... . I looked at and pulled the stock banjo out at the pump and it looks identical to the 5. 9 bolt that is at the pump.....

So what you guys think? Any input would be great... .

Sometimes(99. 8%), i wish i had my 5. 9 back... . :{

When I had my guages intsalled the guy used the boost bolt that came in the kit from diesel manor. It just goes in the back inside hole if I understand right. Maybe someone with more knowledge wil chime in. I know we had the most trouble on trans. temp.
