ok... i am NOT happy with the fit and finish of the tripple pillar mount that i have from Genos. i am looking into mount options here folks...
right now i have Boost, Pyro and Fuel Pressure.
i am in the works of purchasing the REST of the gauges i would like to have. here is a list of gauges i will end up having in TOTAL
Boost
EGT
Fuel Pressure
Rail Pressure
Oil Pressure
Dual air pressure gauge for tank and bags (one gauge)
Rear end temp
Trans temp
8 gauges...
here is what i was thinking...
two three pod gauge mounts for the dash. is this possible? put both fuel pressures and oil pressure in one, EGT and trans/rear temp in the other.
(this also divides them into pressures and tems for drivetrain)
that puts the most important in one, the second in the other all at eye level.
put the dual stering collum mount with the air pressure and boost in it.
boost is important, but if the others all read right boost SHOULD read right, plus the way i check my gauges has an order to it and this puts my order easier to go through. 2 gauge readings then the road. i TRY to stay safe from time to time... lol
so. . this post is looking for one thing simple... would you change anything and why? the console mount is not an option. i was wondering you those of you using the steering wheel pod like it, and i was thinking about placing one gauge in an SRT-10 pod, or maybe 2 (IIRC dodge sells a 2 pod with the handle that looks and fits right) do those of you with the dash mounts like them?
INPUT PLEASE!! this is driving me NUTS. i know it will take me a while as i am balancing the purchase of furniture and parts for my blazer all at the same time... . lol
thanks
Grant
