I am planning on purchasing a set of Gauges and I want the triple mount on the Pillar but I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of a couple of different manufacturers. I have seen the triple mount at Geno's Garage, but I was wondering of any other's that are out there. Also- What three gauges are the important one's to get... ... . Thanks for the input.....

pyro,boost,fuel pressure

If you buy the gauges in a kit you'll get all the nessasary senders and wires so it'll save you money.

PIERS has gauge kits for each model.

See my post from a few days ago. The title says something about Stewart-Warner gauges. They're bad, don't buy them. They weren't what they were advertised, the lighting between the three doesn't match at all, and they won't back their product. Oh -- There are a couple of pictures of them in that post if you're interested in seeing them.

I got my X-Monitor from Geno's and it has worked great! No regrets at all.

I am going to buy the DiProcol white faced gauges from Geno's early next year and will be mounting them on the pillar. I will be buying 60psi boost, Pyrometer, and trans temp. I will add fuel pressure later probably mounted onto the steering wheel. Those are the gauges that light up pretty close to the stock Dodge instrument cluster according to Geno's.

Side note- How much did the monitor posted above cost and how hard was it to install?

I did the Dipricols and have only one complaint = the EGT needle is not visible at night! Contrary to what I was told, the LED lights the red zone of the dial, not the needle! I mounted mine in the pod that goes on the dash. They don't obstruct my view and I don't have to divert my eyes to read them. I was tempted to go with one of the "newer, cooler" locations but looking at the gauges required more eye diversion from the road.

Anyone considering buying EGT gauges should read the sample back issure of TDR:

https://www.turbodieselregister.com/EGT_EVAL.pdf

It gives some interesting facts on pyro response time and pictures of night time lighting. I thought I wanted DiProcols until I saw the very slow response time. Now I'm putting in the Auto Meter Phantom. The pyro response time is much better and the lighting seems acceptable, not great, but OK.

I'll be pulling the trailer mostly during daylight and I don't go racing around at night so night time lighting may be more of an issue for others. Read the article "Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauges: Fact and Fiction" by Jim Weir and you can make an educated decision.

Did you have to paint the mount or did it come matching the interior... I have the same color as your interior.

Thanks

X-monitor are sweet take up alot less room and they don't block line of site. Di Procol's also match stock gauges quite well

I have the same interior color. I left mine black. I think it looks fine. Just personal choice. coobie ;)

Seemingly Good Deal...

I just ordered the set from SHOPDIESEL. they had the three guages, pillar mold and hardware for $280 with free shipping... . all Autometer Ultra-Lite stuff.

I like the look of the triple pod A-pillar but it does make the blind spot a little bigger... you could hold off and wait for the picture on the right ;)

Pics were taken with my phone so there not so good...
