2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Gauge pod unavailable

I posted on the 12 valve engine site but thought I would post here too.



Tried to order the Autometer 3 gauge dash mount pod and they aren't available, been on back order for over a year.



Anyone know of another pod that fits good in the middle of the dash on a 97 truck?

I have the Guageworks center pod that mounts in the center against the windshield. Be aware that you will get reflections on the glass from this mount. Diesel Injection has another style listed too.

I know for a fact that they haven't been on backorder that long, I've order four of them in the last 6 months, although I will say I haven't ordered any or had any sent since February. None-the-less, you might try Summit Racing, they may have them or be able to get them, I know they have the Pillar mounts.

After about 40 different phone calls I finally ordered one of the Propods (wedgee) from a local dist. here in CA.



Geno's recommended that brand, they are the people who told me that they have had the Autometer unit on backorder for about a year now. I even spoke to someone at another dist. and they confirmed that they couldn't get those anymore.



The Gaugeworks unit looks exactly like the Autometer one. Is that actually available or do they just advertise them? Most of the Autometer dist. don't even realize that they can't get them anymore.



Summit doesn't show the Autometer unit being available anymore either.



The nice thing about the Propod unit is that it can be mounted in several different locations, it can go on top of the dash or even down on the large flat panel below the ash tray.



Anyhow, thanks for the help. I'll post when I finally receive the pod and gauges and let everyone know how they fit.
