Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Has anyone else had problems reading their gauges? Just today, I was watching my EGT gauge settle right down to near zero at idle, and quickly build up to 1000 accelerating. It was responding *far* more rapidly than it ever had before. Finally, a couple blocks down the road, I realized I was looking at the boost gauge.
Was this a senior moment? Like in '98 when Dad was driving down to NC, and thought the engine was running *extremely* hot, and was in near panic for several miles, until he realized he was looking at the fuel gauge?
Or his section chief years back in Western Electric, who drove to work one morning, parked in his usual spot, applied the brake to stop, saw he was still moving, *stood* on the brake and was *still* moving, but finally realizing he *wan't moving, that it was the car *next* to him that was leaving... .
Or is this just what is commonly known as a 'brain fart'?
