Finally got my boost, pyrometer and transmission temperature gauges installed. I know this has been asked before, but what readings would be considered normal?

From my past experience with an '02 HO 6 speed, my boost maxed at 22. Under highway driving (70-75 mph), 8-10 psi was normal. The EGT's were 600-700 post turbo. My boost increased to 30-32 with an Edge EZ and a BD cat-back. EGT's actually dropped a little bit.

I've got an edge EZ and 275 injectors - I see about 600-700 cruising 65 or so down the highway. Boost max is around 30, don't have a trailer or something to weight it down to keep it there, so don't know what the actual is. Fuel pressure is around 13-14 just light driving, I've had it WOT and it would drop around to 8, but don't see it. Now EGT will climb up to 900 or even 1100 just really getting after it and going up a hill.

Same here. Stock truck 24v w K and N filter and FASS. What are the safe zones towing a 10k load. Hills vs flats? Empty vs towing. .

EGT - what range.

Boost - what range

Trans - what range

Fuel Pressure - what range

Thanks for repeating this info for me, the newbie.

Thanks!!!
