I've installed a Westach temperature gauge to monitor my NV4500 temperature. It is a bullet mount on the dash, next to the A Pillar. It reflects off of the windshield and is somewhat annoying. Other than adjusting it downward, which looks bad and is a bit difficult to read, is there anyway to reduce that light glare on the windshield?

TIA

John

is it the housing that is reflecting during the day, or the gauge light reflecting at night? if it is the light, maybe a colored bulb. . if it is the housing... maybe glue some commando cloth on it. . [commando cloth is used by movie theaters and tv/movie productions... absorbs light real good... buy $$$ey. $10. 00 usd per yard]

Have you tried window tint. I use it for the high beam and low fuel indicator which seem to bore a bright hole in your retinas on a dark night.

Cut a circle for the gauge and then stick it on. Should eliminate the glare and doesn't cost much. You can probably get a fair sized piece from a windshield dealer for nothing.

Give it a try... keep us apprised.
