I have a 1995 3500 and I would like to install oil pressure, coolant temp. , and oil temp. gauges without disturbing the stock gauge sending units. I want the stock gauges on the dash to still work, but also have some more accurate readings from after market gauges.
I'm planning on using electric gauges because of the distance from the sending units to where I plan on putting the gauges (in a gauge pod above the rear view mirror).
Can I tap into engine oil pressure from the top of the oil filter mount? There is a second plugged hole in front of the oil feed line for the turbo.
What about engine coolant temp and oil temp? Any ideas?
Thanks for any help,
Archie Taylor
