I have a triple gauge mount on the pillar, love it! I have been looking for a good way to add a fuel pressure gauge somewhere on my 97, and noticed that Geno's has a nifty looking mount that goes on top of the steering column. I cannot quite visualize how that would look or work, does anyone have one of those mounts and a photo or tell me how they like it?

Don; I have the same setup, 3 on the A-pillar and and 1 at the bottom of the dash temporarily. I bought the Geno's single gauge column mount, but can't use it with my present fuel pressure gauge because I ran hard tubing to it and it won't work with a tilt column. I snapped it in place tho, and like the looks of it. I will buy an isolator for my mechanical gauge and run nylon tubing to it, or just buy an electrical gauge when I can, so I can use it. I could also move one of the other gauges, but I like the EGT, boost, and trans temp on the pillar.

Hope this helps; Tom

Cubby hole gauge

Hi, I have the same setup in my 99 Ram, the boost, egt, and trans gauges on the pillar. I desperately needed a fuel pressure gauge, so i ordered the westach f. p. gauge from genos and it came with a free gauge mount that goes in place of the little cubby hole in the dash by the radio. Installation was simple and it looks nice and clean.

I have had the steering mount for quite a few years. They give you some plastic rivets, you drill into the existing top cover and push the rivets thru. I had bought it originally for the westach fuel pressure but the gauge was to long to fit flush. I swapped the ISSPRO trans temp from the pillar (which is shorter in length) and the fuel to the pillar.

Many thanks to all.

I had looked for the "cubby hole" cover mount, but have not seen it listed at Geno's or other places. Do you have a photo to share RMowl or someone else? I think I would rather actually have it over there rather then in my way of viewing the primary dash gauges. I have a fuel pressure gauge already that I previously had on my Kenworth, but it is probably too deep to fit the column mount as well, it is direct pressure type, not electric, with pipe fitting on the back.

Hi, I will try to see if I can get a pic of the gauge loaded on here later this week, i'm not too good at that kinda stuff, but anyways. . When I ordered the guage from Genos, it came with the option on the ordering page for a gauge mount. I think it was like $7. 00 if you ordered it by itself but if you ordered a guage from them you get it for free. By the way, my gauge is the electric sender type. To install the mount all I had to do was remove the black trim and three screws hold the cubby hole in place, the mount fits directly to that with three enclosed plastic shims to give the mount a flush fit with your dash. People say my truck now looks like a freekin airplane with all the guages in it, haha.
