Hiya peoples.

I have the gauge bug, more like I hate idiot lights... . so I'm looking at a host of gauges and my question is regarding the ranges

Boost: 35 psi max or 60 psi max - which is most realistic? I figure 35 would be way plenty, but I'm new to the world of turbo's... .

Pyro/EGT: Option is 0-1600 deg w/ type K thermocouple - good range?

Trans temp: 100-250 deg - good range?

Oil press: 0-100 psi - works perfect for all of my gas motors, diesels no different???

H20: 120 - 240, or 140 - 280? I'd prefer the first, thoughts?

Thanks fellas

Everything sounds good... ... . but, for the boost gauge 35psi should be plenty. Mine goes 0-40. A 60 psi boost gauge is excessive, you'll never make that much boost without twin turbos and a p-pump:eek: :D . The lower range water temp gauge sounds better.

I thought a 35psi boost gauge would be plenty. I am now at 32psi and counting. Unless you decide to go crazy, 0-40 should be fine.

More than 40psi can be made with a HX-35, but it's not a good idea. Mine was making 42 before I adjusted some things.

Hewitt makes good stuff.
