Finally got my gauges in. Drove around for the day to see what the norms were. Boost never got above 17 lbs. WOT up a 7% grade and the truck GVW is about 10,500. EGT's maxed at 1200.

After installing the EZ
I finally realized what the CTD is all about. (I was Diesel ignorant when I bought it
) Just heard good stories.
Anyway after the EZ, Boost went to 18 lbs max. EGT's rose a little 1250 max.
Back to the original question. I thought the wastegate on the HY35 was supposed to dump at 20 LBS. I know from reading here that with just the EZ more boost isn't necessary but was curious if maybe the gauge is off a little (all connections tight, Drilled & tapped horn) or possibly the wastegate is malfunctioning.
I have read the threads on disabling the wastegate or using a spring to adjust it, I'm not sure I want to go there yet. The BOMB bug has bitten and I'm sure after the transmission upgrades that injectors are in the future so I want to make sure. TIA
