I have a 03 TD and i want to put a Fuel Pressure Gage some where inside the cab? I prefer a Dash Mount if possible. Are there any pictures and instructions for me to look at? Thank You DOC.....

Check with any of the sponsors, Geno's, Diesel Power Performance etc. I think it is the later one that displays that actual installation instructions and photos on its web site. You can also do a search here and find all sorts of help or check you Issue 47 of the TDR magazine and there is an article about installing gauges in the Idel Chatter section. Hope this helps.

does anyone have a photo of gauges installed on the pillar of an 05. It looks like the grab handle will be in the way of a three gauge pod. I'm picking up my new 05 Friday and wanted to order some gauges tomorrow.

thanks

Mike

They make a 3 gauge pod for the A pillar but you will lose the grab handle. If you do not want to lose the grab handle Autometer makes one for the cubby hole below the radio or Gauge works has one that mounts between the headliner and rearview mirror. Geno's sales them.

I have the Autometer Phantom Series Boost & Pyro gauges in the cubby hole from Colorado Diesel..... at the time of purchase, they were the only one offering a cubby hole mount. I've since decided to add a fuel pressure gauge... . I purchased an SRT/10 A-pillar mount and will install a Dipricol fuel pressure gauge this weekend. Works out good for me as Autometer doesn't offer a fuel pressure gauge in the Phantom Series, so my Dipricol will look better "alone" in the A-pillar than in a 3-gauge cubby hole mount with different brands.

When you install the isolator I recommend getting a rubber clutch pedal pad from a local auto parts store. I mounted my isolator to the lip of the firewall and you could hear the CP3 fuel pump inside the passenger compartment.

I bought a replacement Ford Clutch pedal rubber pad and mounted the pad to the lip of the firewall then I mounted the fuel isolator on the end of the rubber pad.

It is stiff enough to hold the isolator in place with no problems and it dampens out all of the noise from the pump.

I mounted my Di Pricol fuel pressure gauge in the SRT-10 A-Pillar mount, looks real good, I would have went with the ISSPRO fuel pressure gauge but they did not have it out when I bought mine.

I think the Di Pricol may be the better choice any way due to the position of the Fuel Pressure gauge and the way the Di Pricols don't light up as bright, being almost face level at night the ISSPRO's may have been a little on the bright side where as the Di Pricol has been just right for me.
