I just got gauges installed and tonight I noticed what appeared to be some type of fluid on the floor of the garage after investigation it looks to be where they hooked up to the transmission and it is leaking fluid. I tightened it a little bit but not to much because I didn't know if going to deep would hurt something. What should I do and should I be concerned. Thanks

2 Questions If I pull the plug is there going to be alot of fluid coming out? How far do I need to screw it back in?

Be careful with the teflon tape, as it can insulate the sendor and cause no/bad readings. If you use it, only a little up on the shoulder of the sendor.

Anti-seeze paste (as long as its conductive) will serve you well too.

Tighten little bits until the drip stops. You shouldn't get more than a trickle after the first tablespoons come out! It just seems worse on a clean floor or driveway! :)

Good luck, Andy
