Brad, what brand of gauges are those in the photo of your overhead mount? They are a brand that I have not seen before and I am just curious. They look nice!

The guage holder has a back on it so you don't see anything, also my windsheid has a tint strip about 6 inches wide across it so even the back cannot be seen. If your winsheild has had the tint strip on it make sure you cut out about a 1 inch square to let the scotch loc adhere directly to the glass, the only thing seen is the two small squares from outside. I didn't cut out the squares and i had to adjust the holder after the install and pulled the tint off the winsheild and had to get it re-tinted... ..... live and learn! That stuff is tough! I don't know the brand of guages other than HI, Southeast Power said they were good ones so I went with them, no problems so far, but did get the LP replaced under warranty the next day after the guages went in. GUAGES,GUAGES,GUAGES... ..... hope this helps... ... ... ... ... bp

I used a solvent ( alcohol I think) and heat gun to loosen the mirror mounting base , then after it was off and guage mount in, I held the mirror up and adjusted to where I wanted it ,then I had someone mark the outline of the mirror base from outside on the windsheild. I took the mirror off the base and glued it according to the mark on the windsheild, after cleaning the area of course. I'll check at my shop to see what type of adhesive I used and post it this weekend, it has worked well , several different people drive my truck regularly and I'm constantly readjusting my mirror when I get in it. When making the mark for the mirror base make sure you leave enough room to slide the mirror off and on it's base(without hitting the overhead console)... ... ... ... ... ... ... . bp
