Gauges This Weekend

Got the pod cover primed this evening. Dealer said paint will be here on Thursday PM. Can paint the pod that evening and a 2nd coat Friday if needed. Gauges go in Saturday am. Txram is putting em in and I will prolly fire up the pit and cook lunch if anybody wants to come down to the Rocking N to watch or I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER chat.

What brand did you get? I hope you are

installing the probe pre-turbo.



Post some pics when you are done if you

have a digital camera. If not I'll take

some pics of them at the LSTDR rally at

the end of the month.



I'd come down to help but I'm leaving

for the NC/Virginia mountains Thursday

for the weekend.

Did you get the PPG plastic cleaner and plastic adhesion promoter to prep the pod prior to painting? I have some left over from my gauge project a few weeks ago... .

Gauges are SPA. I got the primer from O'Reilley as was mentioned on an earlier thread. I had to order the paint from dealer. Wifey cleaned them real good before priming. They look like they are ready to install now. She paints better than I do,I told her we don't want anybody laughing at the ride at the meet. I have no digital camera but you can take a picture

if you want to. Thanks for the offer Rusty but I think it will turn out ok.
