This is probably not a 911 situation, but I need help. I installed some gauges last December. They worked just fine for 8 months, but now all of the sudden my EGT gauge is reading around 600degs low. If I am just cruising, it will drop all the way to 0. If I am going up a hill, it will go up to around 600degs. I have not lost any power. My boost gauge is working fine. You can look at my sig to see all of my mods. I should have higher EGT's than this! Can anyone help me please!

This may not be the fix, but I would check your ground wire. These guages are very sensitive to ground.

Hope this helps. :)

Do you have a pyro that requires +12 volt power to operate or do you just hook the thermocouple to it and go? My DiPricol only need power for the lighting.

Second option would be to check the thermocouple tip in the manifold to see that it has not been damaged/overheated. By your sig I'd say you have enough fuel to do that.

You will ahve to repace it. I bought a replacement for a Westach gauge a whil back and it was'nt that much $.
This is right on. What you pay for one depends on what style you get and who you're dealing with. I don't know of any way to fix the thermocouples they use in this application.

Have you contacted the dealer you purchased the gauges from to see if they are still under warranty?

If not I would give them a try, it may still be under warranty.
