I'm ordering some guages from Geno's for my 04' and had some questions... How hard is it to install a boost gauge? "never done it before" and I was thinking of getting a oil pressure gauge "how hard would that be"? Where do you tap in? Oil Pressure, Boost Pressure, and Pyro gauge is what I'm thinking. I have a six speed, so I think oil pressure would be a little better than transmission temp, don't like the dummy oil pressure gauge it came with  ... I'm getting a new turbo (SUPER PHAT SHAFT62) and ATS manifold as soon as I get my tax return check, so I'll do my pyro then. Anyway input would be great... Thanks :-laf

My Isspro boost gauge from Geno's came with a boost bolt. That makes the installation really easy. Apparently the included boost bolt is fairly new since some of the posts I've read on here say you'll have to buy it separately. If you do a search for posts from NavyDood, he did a good write up of a gauge install except for the oil pressure part. Sorry, I'm not sure how to do that one either.

Well I just ordered from Geno's "ISSPRO's white faced gauges" and must say that Andy was great at explaining things and yes Geno's boost gauges come with the boost bolt that goes in your block. Great Service and great prices. I'm going to try and tackle this thing myself this weekend. I worked in the engine rooms/boiler rooms of two ships and did gauge cal. , so I think I can handle this now. Thanks for the info guy's... . Of course any more input or tricks I should know about would be great. I'll look for Navydood's post's... Thanks again guy's

I installed ISSPRO gauges on the post of my rig, its a good idea to protect wires and hoses from chaffing under hood and dash. I ran my boost gauge tube inside some vacuum line under the hood and through the firewall then changed to wire loom under the dash to the back of the gauges, this can be puchased at most auto parts or stereo stores, the exhaust temp wires I ran in new wire loom across the upper part of firewall with other harnesses. You can run without the wire loom but there's alot of sharp edges under the dash. Just a suggestion.

The color matched piller mount matches the interior great. Good luck

Anyone have some good suggestions as to where to run the wires

through the firewall (and maybe some pics)?

I'm going to have to do that in the near future. I noticed a boot around

the steering column but I'm not crazy about that location.

Thanks for any input :)

Yes. . make a slit in the rubber plug where the auto transmission cable would have gone below your clutch pedal.
