I'm Planning to put some gauges in my 98 CTD 2500. Planning on using autometer gauges ultra liste series. My question is I don't need a transmission temp gauge because my truck is a stick. Going with exhaust gauge do I place the sensor befor the turbo or after it ? Other gauge is fuel pressure my truck is a 98. 5 I've heard the the pumps tend to go out on that year model. Last gauge is boost do I get the boost that 0-30 or 0-60 I'm planning on putting new turbo, edge, intake and exhaust in the future just wondering if I do all that will my boost ever get close to 60 or is 30 good enough. Thanks :D

I've got the 0-35psi Autometer Phantom in mine. I hit 31psi with just DDIIs. I'd go for the 60. The pyro in mine is run pre turbo. I'd rather know what I'm feeding my turbo rather than what is coming our of it. You can never go wrong with a fuel pressure gauge.

I installed the Autometer 0-60psi and will push 30psi with a boost elbow installed with my setup. Installed EGT pre turbo as well, for the same reason as CP. The LP fuel pressure gauge is a helpful indication of the health of the lP pump.

98.5 guages

put the autometer ultralites in mine... happy so far (already caught one LP going bad)... check out my pix for details on the install. Install was pretty simple and clean.
