Ok, I'm ready to purchases gauges for my truck. Questions what types of guages are best to purchase and why?

I would like an a-pillar set up. I like the ones from geno garage (white ones) but they seem a little pricey.

Thanks

Frank

I got a set from Isspro (pyrometer, fule pressure, turbo boost). They were kind of spendy, but are nice gauges. I mounted them in an Autometer A-pillar, which also was kind of spendy, but oh well

I have the Westach gauges from Geno's, very happy with them. They match the dash gauges quite well with green covers over the lights. I just finished installing my fuel pressure gauge in a a three pod pillar, chucked the stock one. It' s the only way to go, one screw holding it and works perfect. Will get pictures posted when the sun come back up!

Go back and check the older threads, there are a TON of posts on this subject regarding what gauges to get and where the best prices are. I have Autometer Sport Comps in a Triple "A" pillar (0-35psi Boost, Trans temp, 0-1,600EGT)

Here's what the Westach gauges look like in a three gauge pod. On top is combo EGT/Boost (with switch for two probes), transmission temp, and the new fuel pressure gauge. So far I think my lift pump is OK, showing 11-12 psi at idle and I've seen it drop down to 2 psi mashing on the loud pedal. Not bad with Blue Box at 30% and 275 injectors.

I installed Autometer Z-Series pyro, boost and transmission temp gauges bought from Diesel Injection Service (DIS) in an A-Pillar mount. They match the factory gauges and I like them.

I can't say enough good things about the customer service you receive from DIS. They aren't afraid to communicate with their customers. OUTSTANDING folks to do business with.

I have Autometer Sport Comp on triple A-pillar, used blue bulb covers to match dash lights. Looks and works great. EGT,transmission temp, boost. If you get the a pillar use as a replacement not a cover, works just fine and you won't have to cut up your stock one. There is a poll on gauges going on right now, check it out. Good Luck, Dwayne. :D
