Recently replaced old egt and boost gauges and added fuel pressure gauge, all on the A pillar. Someone told me the 30# fuel gauge was not big enough, but it was already in place.
I was a bit surprised to see a max of 24# fuel pressure, and most times below 20#.
Truck hauls butt, so did not worry about it.
This morning, it did the old "I have air in my fuel lines" and was a booger to start, even being inside out of the cold.
The pressure would fluctuate from 10 to 15 at most. Did some checking later for leaks, etc. and found none. I then pulled the ofv and the spring was 7/16" instead of the 1/2" so I stretched it a bit and put it back. Now it is back to starting like it is supposed to and thfuel pressure is mostly 25# and pegged off idle! Oo. Oo.
Oh well, looks like a 60psi gauge is next.
