50# boost, EGT 0-1600

Since you have an auto you should seriously consider a transmission temp gauge
Do a search on gauges and you will have days of reading, there has been much info on this subject.

I agree with JNutter. The 50 psi boost gauge is enough, unless you plan on some MAJOR turbo upgrades in the future(my HX40 is wastegated at 45psi and with the mods. I have, the max I see is 40psi at WOT). The bottom number of that 600-1600 pyro is useless unless you plan on a pre-turbo mount, then it would be okay to monitor safe engine egt's but still useless to monitor safe shut down temps. I really don't think you need to go as high as 1600F on the top end of the egt. gauge, if your climbing above 1500 your playing with fire IMHO. The SPA gauges are real nice if you like digital. I have the analog DiPricol gauges (except FP, that's a SPA if I ever get it in) and am real happy with them except for the EGT. gauge at night as the needle is not illuminated and difficult to read without daylight. Here's a couple of links...

For SPA gauges try here http://www.performancediesel. bigstep.com/category.html?UCIDs=578092%7C579181

For DiPricol gauges try here http://www.tstproducts.com/gauge_kits.html

Both vendors (Performance Diesel and TST) have great customer service and decent prices.

Autometer Ultra-lite style with blue bulbs! The blue bulbs turn color after use, and match stock gauges.

You can get the 50# Boost gauge from Jannetty's.

mikec IMO I think after installing many of most all brands I think the SPA gauges are the best value for the money. Yes they cost the most but have many advantages over the rest. Some people just don't like a digatal gauge but if that is not a problem for you SPA is a good choice. With only 2 gauges you get 4 functions.

spa's rule, here is a pic of some gauges I did

<img src=http://www.mypage.onemain.com/Brandon&Danelle/Dscn0011.jpg WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480>

gauges left to right

1=boost and oil temp

2=pre fuel filter fuel pressure and pre-turbo pyrometer
3=post fuel filter fuel pressure and post-turbo pyrometer
the red buttoms are programming buttons for each gauge
the red switch on the left is to enter programming mode w/o turning off ignition source

B... ... ...
it is pretty cool and very user friendly and oh so accurate as heck
