gauges??

I was wondering if there is pillar gauges out for the new trucks yet, or is there only column mounts?

There is a dash mount option if you do not have the heated seats, Quadzilla sells a aluminum plate with either two or three holes punched in it for that fits in the cubby hole. You remove the cubby hole, remove the rubber liner from the cubby hole, and the plate gets sandwiched between the cubby hole and the front plate. There is a hole in the back of the cubby that all the wires and capillary tube can fit through, so nothing has to be modifiied if you ever wanted to remove it and put it back to stock. I took a couple pictures of the guages, not very good ones, they are in my reader rig album.

Take a look at the X-monitor! Do a search on 3rd gen and type in X-monitor.

Some like them some don't, obviously I do. Just chek them out it is worth your time.

Definitely Go Pillar

Just finished the install of my pillar gauges. Went with a color matched Pro-Pod, ordered from Geno's. It installed pretty easy. Only bad part is you have to cut the factory grab handle off. The Pro-pod is a full length cover that fits over top the factory piece. Also, I went with a dual gauge set-up. Some guys complain that the triple gauge set-up places the top gauge too close to your face. My double set-up is just right!

Nice gauges jengle..... how do the lights match up with the factory dash lights??

They are not quite exact, but not far enough off for me to warrant yanking them out of the pillar to fix. There is a slight yellow glow around the boost and the Fuel pressure. The egt is right on. If I could take them out, and start over, I would still get the same guages and the pillar mount, but the only difference I would make is to get some of that green bulb wrap and cover the regular bulbs in the guages. But it really isn't that much of a difference. I wired mine into the dimmer circuit off the light switch and they dim with the dash lights. I won't be home until the 19th, and will try to take a night time picture of them. If it comes out, I will post it with the others.

jengle, those gauges are awesome lookin!! thats the ones i am wanting to get. i ordered the pillar from geno's but could not find those gauges on there website. where did u purchase urs from?
