Great seeing everyone again!!! Steve ... . ya gotta start smokin' soon!!!!! Buck came all the way from Idaho ... . wooo hoo I know I had a great time even more fun on the way home - those gassers sure don't appreciate black smoke at all!!! We need to do this again soon~!

It was a good time. I wish there were a few more trucks show up:( Seven trucks isn't too bad for this time of year I guess. Everyone is busy, but you have to take a day off once in a while :) We can try and have another before the Scheid Extravaganza if you want. I am game. Start a new thread and get the ball rolling:D

A couple new guys isn't bad either. It was nice to meet you Travis. Hope we can get something going soon:D

So Sorry that I missed the event.

I had the trans out , It was ready to go in this am but I didn't get a start till 9 am. I was tired from work and the late nights working on it.

It is running now -it was about 3pm- and I was too greasy to be there anyway!!

BTW, I did the DTT thing. Every one should experience a tight converter!!! My back tires don't have a chance now!

Really it feels real good to drive, easy to keep the rpm under 1800 in town driving where before it was impossible.

I want to get 1000 miles or so on it before I work it hard- anyone willing to bet?

BTW, last week I had a load of concrete on my dump trailer and on dirt in high range it couldn't pull it, had to put it in 4 low.

It idles down the road about 15-18 now, with out the trailer too bad I dumped it. It would have made a nice test.

At 60 in OD you can't hardly tell when the converter locks where before it would drop 400-700 rpm.

I have a lock-unlock switch in it.

Sorry I missed you guys.

It was nice to see everyone. Thanks for the goodies Keith. ;) I would like to meet before sheids if everyone else is game.

Don't make it clash with the biggest Mopar show on the East coast and maybe some of us would have loved to come out. BTW,keep your eye on Rammin On,he is a bad influence..... Andy

I plan on going and will bring at least two other trucks.

We are all from the springfield ILarea.

I'm thinking it will be early sat am and plan to drive home late sat.

John

I'll caravan with ya Dave. Where are you going to stay? I was thinking about leaving the same time. So it sounds good to me. Me and my brother are looking forward to all the action. :)

I am planning on going.

I am going to try to go, but I don't think I can leave until Friday night or Saturday morning. Where is everybody staying?

lookin for some help

Hey BTW I am looking for some help with these new gauges that I just got from Geno's. I got a transmission temp, egt, and a boost. If anyone is game, let me know, and we can set something up, I will buy the beer, or bring the CASH just let me know, I am going to the Brickyard next weekend, and I am trying to get them in before then, but I am to scared that I will mess something up. Later.

I've been watching this topic with interest and will try to get to the next get together.

Now I see someone has used my two favorite words--cash and beer-!!!!!

TravisG, I'd be glad to help get those gauges in. They are easy.

Unfortunately, my next few weekends are busy, going camping this next one and then may be making a mad run to Florida the following.

So the 16-17 may be the only chance. Scheids is the following weekend.

John

Travis,

I'll be glad to help you. Once you have the guages in, you will never want to drive a truck without them. :) What date is everyone wanting to get together on.
