Sweeeeeetttt!!!!!! I've been running around for a couple of weeks with 1-3 lbs of lift-pump pressure and finally bit the bullet and got the GDP kit and installed it over the weekend. Here's what it looks like. I'm getting 15-20 lbs around town... the truck starts faster (less crank-time)... no more "stumbles" when I re-start the engine "hot"... Gotta love it! Mondo-thanks to Richard.

hey do you have any pics of the check valve you have to put in the factory line. i will be installing mine very shortly. probably within the nest week. where sis you cut and put that check valve in the factory line. i saw 2 spots i was thinking of but just curious how you did yours. thanks

The bypass valve goes in a new 3/8" fuel line you run from the tank, the factory supply line is eliminated. You're looking right at it in the second picture. One thing I'm going to add that Richard may consider including is a 1 3/4" bracket for the strainer to be secured to the frame. One other change I made was using rubber gasketed self tapping screws to go into the frame. This should prevent as much moisture as possible from getting in. They're commonly used in metal buildings to keep rain out. By the way Richard's customer service is outstanding.

I used the bracket that held the factory fuel line... I wrapped some electrical tape around the body of the bypass valve (protection) then tie-wired it to the bracket. This is a couple of photos I took during the install...

with the glacier kit the factory lines stay intact along with whole factory fuel system. but when you install the glacier you have to put the check valve on the factory supply line. it is that piece i was hoping to see a picture of and find out where it was installed. i know about the bypass valve. unless he opted to take the factory line out then of course the check valve wouldnt be an issue. thanks.

You guys are KILLING my finances :-laf

I ordered the GDP 392 kit yesterday.

Excellent service too, I ordered online at 4:00pm and they got it out on UPS the same day

Where does the Pump take suction from, the old OEM tank line on the sending unit or does it have a new larger one (drill a hole in the tank and install)?
