I've got a Ford/Cummins project going that has the 4. 10 gears. My conversion uses the 518 transmission that I've converted to a lockup convetor, and I've changed the tires to a 35/12. 50-16. The calculator brings this package to 1700 RPMS @ 70 MPH. Just what more could you ask for with the Cummins, even if the tires are actually a little shorter that the 35" specified.
