The factory fluid was a different color than what the dealer put in. Factory fluid was honey gold with a little green tint to it (green probably=pressure additives). The dealer fluid almost looked looked like it had friction clutch additive because it had more of a white/gray/green color.
There's a document out there somewhere from FCA stating that the gear oil from the factory will have a lighter milky appearance (my words, but it stated something to that affect) because of the tooth marking compound used to run the gear pattern.
Also, all of the clutch additive I have seen has been clear....and they would have no reason to put that in these diffs.
