I recently parked my 89 12V and bought a 2002. Both are geared 4:10. I would like to know how the 3:73 is working as opposed to 4:10 and the 3:54. There were lots of 3:54's around but my thinking was this is more for crusing rather than towing. The 4:10 in the 02 gets 18mpg empty @ 2150 rpm. The 3:73 is available as a swap in the 70 series Dana. How about the 3:90? Anyone have an experience with gearing changes and towing? I carry a 10' truck camper and tow a 16 enclosed trailer, gross estimate weight including truck 9000 lbs. Thanks. Tom
