So, the only problems I have with my 2006 3500 are superficial...that says something for MOPAR...
Where can I find a gear shift ball top with the 6 speed shift pattern (yes, my wife can drive a manual, but she needs help)?

How about that hood emblem on the chromed plastic grill, too?

Maybe I missed it, but I do NOT see any shift knobs there that have the correct pattern for the G56 in the OP's truck.

I do know that South Bend Clutch makes a steel version with the correct pattern engraved in it, and has a matching one for the transfer case as well, though both are shaped like the oem knobs--

The one pictured is for the NV5600, but they DO make the correct one..I have it on my 2005.

If you look around there I think I saw one for the g56, I have a 56 in my gas truck 5.7. Try a google search too, they're all over the place, click on "images"

Try www.lmctruck.com. On page 40 of their catalog, under Interior - Manual Transmission and Transfer Case Shift Components, they show the manual shift knob and related shift pattern caps for the '05-'15 6 speed. Part number 55-2858 "B" for the 2500 - 3500 might be what you are looking for?

I purchased their 5speed cap for my 1996 2500 with the NV4500. Nice part, fit well and an affordable price I felt.

They may also have the hood (grille) emblem you are looking for, P.N. 56-8208, page 68 under Stock Grilles, Ram 3500 2006-09.
